Attention, Friends lovers: A couch that’s supposedly the one from Central Perk can be yours for $700. And the seller’s in Frederick, Md.
According to the Craigslist ad, the seller’s mother bought the tufted, wood-trimmed couch two years ago for $2600. They’re selling it because it doesn’t fit through the doors of their Victorian house.
They’d like to sell it today, and the price is negotiable; however, the seller implores, “don’t low ball us please.”
To compare, after four days on the market during August’s Mad Men E-bay auction, Roger Sterling’s desk had drawn a bid of $2800. Hey, I’d take Mid-Century modern over shabby chic any day, too.
