Success! You're on the list.
This is probably the only image of Ian Svenonius that will survive the rapture.

Hey, the K Records people have posted a new song from Chain & The Gang, aka The Latest Ian Svenonius Joint. But it’s not on the band’s K page or its MySpace area. It’s on the Tumblr thing, which is like Twitter for people who want to hoard cool stuff instead of just linking to it. The song? Funny! Jaunty! It’s called “Not Good Enough,” and it basically says that if you think you suck, you probably do. Taste: It’s the stuff that great scenes are made of.

(The song is from the band’s upcoming album, Music’s Not For Everyone, which is due in February 2011; other cuts were featured in a recent K Records “Zip Pak,” which appears to be some sort of cult-related activity.)

NOTE: The good folks at K responded to clarify the title of the song. (The original Tumblr post just said “Music’s Not For Everyone,” but that’s the album title, not the song title.)
