Don’t miss the chance this weekend to call on several of the city’s finest artists as they open up their studios—-and, in some cases, their homes—-to any random stranger with a hankering to look at and talk about art. The Mid-City Artists collective, whose numbers are now more than 40, is holding its bi-annual artist open house.
The studios, all walking distance from Dupont or Logan Circle, will feature 20 artists in all. Neglected to take your kids trick-or-treating last weekend because of the Stewart/Colbert Rally? Take them to this: I’m sure they’ll like it much better, and if they don’t, well, one day they’ll no doubt appreciate fine art and good finger food.
