Good morning. It’s been six days, and Lil’ Wayne is still a free man. So, that new mixtape should be only a few hours away right?

City Paper‘s Louis Jacobson had a double shot of FotoWeekDC yesterday, taking a gander Noelle K. Tan‘s “The America Project: utopia” and Studio Gallery’s “The Breadth and Beauty of Photography,” which features shots by Yve Assad, who use of aluminum prints “works moderately well with an image of a boat on the water, but her work truly sparkles – literally and figuratively – in an aerial photograph of a series of almost fractal-like sandbars in water.”

Also at FotoWeek, WaPo‘s Blake Gopnik checks out a series by the Brazilian photographer Raul Flores.

Several months back, Chris Klimek and I shared our opinions of Conan O’Brien‘s “Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour.” Well, Conan’s been back on TV for two nights and so far, Hank Stuever isn’t impressed, writing that the pompadoured redhead is just “a man at a desk, making jokes about himself while making chitchat with other famous people. Is it possible we have too much collective cultural energy invested in this strange art form?”

But with Jay vs. Conan finally reaching some kind of end, we need a new feud. One possible matchup: Wonder Woman and Potomac, Md. resident Lynda Carter and potential rebooter Megan Fox, with Carter striking the first blow on Fox News as recapped TBD’s Ryan Kearney.

Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi played again at the 9:30 Club last night. Arts Desk bossman Jonathan L. Fischer reported sightings of owls, cell phone blocking dryads and winged goldfish. Sorry I missed it.

And Beauty Pill’s Chad Clark has some thoughts his friend’s thoughts on the reissue of Thriller. Per Joe Warminsky, they’re hilarious.
