Dismemberment Plan announced the opening acts for the three D.C. shows kicking off its reunion mini-tour next January in support of the reissue of 1999’s Emergency & I. The opening-night show on Jan. 21 at The Black Cat will be led off by Tereu Tereu, the noisy pop band fronted by City Paper contributor Ryan Little, and Arts Desk favorites Bluebrain. The first of the two weekend shows at the 9:30 Club will begin with Poor But Sexy, heard yesterday on this blog with their new single “Cherry Delicious.” Fellow D.C. scene veteran J. Robbins and his latest project Office of Future Plans are slated to openDismemberment Plan’s third D.C. show on Jan. 23.

And I still need a ticket to any of the shows.
