It seems today is a great day to make announcements. Folks were hyped to know what Oprah had to say on her show today, only to be deflated when news leaked that it was just about a long-lost half sister. (We were so hoping for the secret love child.) Then we turned our attention to the home front.
Yesterday WKYS’s EZ Street notified his listeners via Twitter and Facebook to look out for an announcement that would be released around 2 p.m. today.
What he announced: Starting Feb. 27, EZ will produce and host a new talk show called Trending With EZ on WOL. EZ released a video of the announcement on his website. The show is a spinoff of the interaction he has with his listeners via social networking sites. EZ is known to ask, daily, a mix of comical and thought-provoking questions; with the most recent stirring a debate over a Lil’ Wayne lyric that eggs on the “light skin versus dark skin” debate among African Americans.
Minutes after his announcement, EZ took to Twitter to thank his fans for their support.
