The National Mall by BLUEBRAIN. The First Location-Aware Album from BLUEBRAIN on Vimeo.

Brain Music: Local electronic duo Bluebrain created an album in app form for the iPhone earlier this year, and, per this video, it’s finally coming out (tonight at midnight, that is). The app responds to where you’re standing on the National Mall, and based on the trailer, it’s lovely, spacey stuff. Be sure you don’t wander into any games of Ultimate.

Bench Singer: By knowing Paul Simon’s music better than Paul Simon, local lawyer Paul Fournier got not just one but two mentions in the Post: in David Malitz’s review of Simon’s show at DAR Constitution Hall, and on The Reliable Source blog. Next week, he’ll be subbing in for at least one member of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.

Dance (If You Wanna): Turns out the daylight dance party is an extremely high concept, reports Sarah Godfrey.

Today on Arts Desk: Changes at the National Book Festival; the coolest in-stores ever.
