If you were planning on spending $3 on a crappy bracelet at H&M Georgetown this weekend, reconsider. In its final days at The Shops at Georgetown Park, the National Pinball Museum is offering $3 regular admission and free entrance for children nine and under.
Last week, museum owner David Silverman was informed that mall owner Vornado Realty was terminating his lease. After only six months in Georgetown, Silverman is packing up his 900 classic pinball machines and shipping out.
Admission is cheap or free starting today through July 4. All exhibits and games will be open to the public, including the museum’s 40 “pay-to-play” machines.
The National Pinball Museum is open Fridays noon-8 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sundays noon-6 p.m.; and Mondays noon-6 p.m.
