H Street Blues: H Street Playhouse has been priced out of H Street NE, my colleague Lydia DePillis reported yesterday. Owner Adele Robey sold the property to an investment firm in 2009; now that her initial lease is expiring, the firm is planning to raise the rent. And so the playhouse—-which was used by companies including Scena, Theatre Alliance, and No Rules—-will now look for a new location.
