Wow: The Book of Mormon, the nine-time Tony-award winning musical by the creators of South Park, is coming to the Kennedy Center in 2013. And that ain’t the only huge show on the docket: In its season announcement this morning, Ken Cen unveiled plans to produce Anything Goes (three Tonys), Million Dollar Quartet (one Tony), and War Horse (five Tonys) on its stages in 2012 and 2013.

Kennedy Center President Michael Kaiser says “normal”-priced seats will be available for those shows. (Orchestra tickets for The Book of Mormon on Broadway are going for $145 and higher.)

Other season highlights include “Nordic Cool 2013” (Feb 19-March 17, 2013), an arts festival that will celebrate arts from Finland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and yes, Greenland’s territories; Jason Moran‘s first season as jazz director; a Lang Lang residency with the NSO; and a new Kennedy Center production of The GuardsmanCheck out the rest of the season online.
