This “invitation” arrived at Washington City Paper‘s offices today, with no return address (but with a postmark indicating it was mailed from Hollywood ZIP code 90038):
The numbers, which do use the Zimbabwe country code, don’t appear to be working. And Lazarus Dokora does appear to be the deputy minster of education, sport, art, and culture. But we’d be surprised if the invitation (which cost 90 cents just to mail, much less whatever it cost to print them on solid card stock with a raised Zimbawean flag on the top) wasn’t a line item in the marketing budget for Sacha Baron Cohen‘s latest project, which opens next week.
