In which our art critics highlight their favorite works on view at Artomatic
Unquestionably, the most outgoing artist at Artomatic is the poet Brash, going back to 2007. Once again the poet has poem-bombed each exhibitor, which is a daunting task given the size of the exhibition. Think for a moment about dashing off 1100 poems in a couple days. Are they any good? Some are. Some aren’t. Some are crap. Some are clearly the reflex of looking at a work and jotting down the first thing that comes to mind. What can be respected is the volume of work that gets produced, the number of words shed, and the effort taken to write a note, type it, print it, and deliver it.
