Minor Threat appears to be causing a small food craze.
In keeping with the Minor Treat ice-cream truck, a fan has created what appears to be a Whole Foods–esque in-store campaign for an alcoholic beverage, which is not so much in keeping with Minor Threat. Rick Ross would seem like a more appropriate spokesperson for Moulin de Gassac Rosé, but who am I to question the Whole Foods wine guy?
Ian MacKaye says that a friend found it online and sent it to him, so it’s unclear when or where this sign appeared. But do Arts Desk a favor and check out the signage the next time you’re in the beverage section at Whole Foods (or wherever rosé is sold via chalk drawings). At $11.99, this bottle might indeed be the perfect summer porch-pounder. Just don’t try bringing it to Fort Reno.
