But Contemporary Wing, the new gallery led by Lauren Gentile, is bringing a few of the biggest names from the ’90s and aughts to 14th Street NW through the secondary market. “Off the Wall: Established Contemporary,” a new show and series at Contemporary Wing, assembles works from private New York and D.C. collections by the aforementioned stars as well as other collection pieces by Nan Goldin, Andy Warhol, and Shinique Smith.
