Released last September, Maimouna Youssef‘s The Blooming was a dynamic debut for the accomplished singer/MC. It chastised everything from genocide to phony rappers, and showed listeners that she can rock without The Roots.

Released today, Youssef’s video for “Meet Me in Brazil” is a breezy tale of overseas romance, in which she and her husband (played by Why Did I Get Married? actor Lamman Rucker) engage in some roleplay to spice up their marriage.

There’s nothing wrong with a little adventure.
