Tabi Bonney is keeping busy. Two weeks ago, the standout D.C. rapper released LoveJoy Park, a nine-song mixtape of breezy melodies dedicated to the ladies. This past Saturday, Bonney delivered an impressive show at the first-ever Trillectro Festival, despite forgetting his lyrics to “Parachute.” (“I forgot my lyrics, but fuck it, man. I got too excited.”) On Aug. 25, he’s scheduled to perform at Fillmore Silver Spring with Landover singer Reesa Renee.

Released today, Bonney’s video for “Top Notch Material Girls” (from his album The Summer Years) is an effective use of three minutes. Here, he splits time between New York City and Los Angeles, with plenty of video models and flashy cars to boot. Scene stealer: Tabi’s motorcycle helmet and jacket at the 2:12 mark. Swag score: 8.
