Any populist music festival worth its subwoofers will be a showcase for T-shirt slogans and various forms of peacocking, and Saturday’s Virgin Mobile FreeFest—with an almost-anything-goes lineup spanning genres and age appeals—-certainly complied. While photographer Brandon Wu spent a lot of time capturing what was on stage, he also made sure to document the action on the Merriweather Post Pavilion grounds.
