EAT THIS
Jack Rose Dining Saloon is hosting an inauguration luau tonight in honor of President Barack Obama‘s home state. Beginning at 6 p.m., there will be a “tiki pig” roast as well as a Kona Brewery tap takeover. Hula dancers will be shaking their hips with grass skirts and leis, and the Tiki Bar will serve rum cocktails out of fresh pineapples and coconuts. And yes, there will be Spam in the form of sliders. Even if you don’t make it to the Luau, Jack Rose opens at 11 a.m. and will be serving its bar menu and airing the inaugural ceremony all day. Jack Rose, 2007 18th St. NW.
