Grab a Sweetgreen salad today, but break out your phone, instead of your wallet, and try out the restaurant’s new payment and rewards app (available for iPhone and Android). Once you’ve put in all your information, all you have to do is scan a QR code at the register. There are perks, too: For every $100 you spend, you get a $10 credit. You also unlock various “statuses,” which get you better rewards. In addition, one percent of all purchases made through the app go to D.C. Farm and School Network. Read more more about the app here.
