The Anacostia Arts Center is hiring. ARCH Development Corporation’s new arts facility on Good Hope Road SE is expected to open May 1, and it recently posted a want ad for a director.

The director would handle booking and management of the center’s gallery, pop-up, theater, lounge, and reading spaces, all of which are available for rent. It would also involve coming up with a marketing plan for the center and overseeing its social media accounts, among other tasks. ARCH is also seeking an assistant for the arts center. No salaries have been posted for either position.
