At this year’s SXSW, we kept our eyes trained on D.C. This year, the conference saw Kid Congo & the Pink Monkey Birds before they left for Europe, the fresh power-pop sounds of America Hearts, and the straight-ahead punk intensity that is Clutch. Oh, and one of D.C.’s favorite natives, Dave Grohl, gave a great keynote speech, too.
