Oh haaay, Girls Against Boys is back. The New York-via-D.C. post-hardcore band, rested after a decade-long hiatus, has released a comeback single, the meaty “It’s a Diamond Life.” It’s the band’s first single since its 2002 LP You Can’t Fight What You Can’t See.

Girls Against Boys embarks on an international tour this spring with a Sept. 13 show in D.C. (venue TBA). In March, the band wrote on its website that the tour marks the 20th anniversary of its first LP on Touch & Go, Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby. “If you haven’t heard this record it’s probably because a. there are 897,765,35,098,554 other records out there to listen to and b. because you missed that whole ’90s’ thing and c. because maybe you heard it on spotify but whatever,” says the update.

“It’s a Diamond Life” is slated to appear on a forthcoming Girls Against Boys EP. Listen to the track after the jump.
