NPR quiz show Ask Me Another is coming to D.C. in October, and the special guest is punk stalwart Ian MacKaye.

On October 10, the WNYC-produced show will tape in front of an audience at NPR’s Studio 1. MacKaye will join host Ophira Eisenberg and house musician Jonathan Coulton to talk about Dischord and whatnot, but the show’s puzzle-makers will also pelt him with specially tailored brainteasers.

Is Ian MacKaye good at trivia? I have no clue, but I’d wager that 1) he reads a lot, and 2) a lifetime of abstaining from alcohol and drugs has kept him as sharp as a Ginsu knife.
