The Dismemberment Plan‘s first album in 12 years, Uncanney Valley, comes out today. (You would have known that if you read last week’s Washington City Paper cover story and our multiple blog posts on the subject.) To make today extra special, the band also released a music video for the record’s second track, “Waiting,” and it’s as zany and wonderful as you’d expect: Sign language interpreters translate Travis Morrison‘s lyrics into ASL while the band hams it up on their instruments alongside them. Never change, D-Plan. Never change.

The band plays a pair of shows this weekend at 9:30 Club, and tickets are still available for both Saturday (with Deleted Scenes) and Sunday night (with Paint Branch).
