Ex Hex, the new project from Mary Timony (Wild Flag, Helium), has signed to indie titan Merge, less than a month after releasing its debut single “Hot & Cold.” A press release states that the band, which also includes Betsy Wright and Laura Harris, will release its first album in April and play a slew of tour dates early next year including a stop at South by Southwest in March.
