As Arts Desk reported back in November, Brookland recording hub House Studio recently launched a record label, and D.C. rapper RAtheMC was the first signee. Today, RA dropped a new video for “Inception,” a day after she spoke with WPGC’s Peter Parker about her career and her father’s recent passing.

The video takes a brooding look at RA’s workout and recording routines. Under gray skies, the rapper runs along the Mount Vernon Trail and ends with a mock Rocky celebration. Elsewhere, we see flashes of singer Abir Haronni and dancer Delaney Wells. The video concludes too soon, but at least it’s inspirational.
