It begins with foggy blue lights, then quick flashes of red and green. Eventually, a silhouette of Outputmessage (aka D.C.’s Bernard Farley) winds elastically to his own synth-laden groove. This video for “Goldilocks Zone” is trippy, man. Then again, the EDM producer has a knack for unique videos and dramatic tunes.
That’s not a bad thing, even though the video for “Goldilocks Zone” looks like early MTV. The song itself really evokes one of my favorite childhood video games. And while we only see splashes of Farley in the new clip, it’s enough to show he’s feeling the vibe. Or he’s feeling the effects of something else.
