Playing favorites is OK when you’re packing a carry-on suitcase or making a kickball team roster, but for a public-art biennale, it feels wrong. Still, with 25 art projects scattered through every ward of the city for the second installment of D.C.’s venerable 5×5 program, can you really see it all?

With a little gumption, a day off, and a lot of patience for public transportation, it’s possible. (Well, almost—some of the projects are one-time performances or super-short-term installations, but most will be on view through early December.)

Feeling ambitious and omnivorous? Here’s your itinerary.
