Today, the Black Cat announced a Foo Fighters show for this Friday, tied to Dave Grohl‘s new HBO miniseries, Sonic Highways. This Friday’s episode, the second in the series, will focus on the music of D.C., featuring superstars from the go-go and hardcore scenes.

Turns out it only takes 90 minutes for enough Foo Fighters fans to show up and sell out the venue’s mainstage. (Each person is allowed two tickets, so only the first 350 or so people in line will get them.)
