Good day for fans of fancy salad and pop music: Sweetlife Festival has announced its 2016 lineup! This year, the annual music festival put on by bougie salad purveyors Sweetgreen will take place on Saturday, May 14 at its usual venue: Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Among this year’s headliners: The 1975, Grimes, Halsey, Blondie, Eagles of Death Metal, Flume, and PARTYNEXTDOOR, along with a smattering of other trendy pop, R&B, rock, and hip-hop acts.
But this year’s festival is different in one, albeit big way: After expanding into a two-day festival last year, Sweetlife is now back to a one day party. As Sweetgreen co-founder Jonathan Neman told the Washington Post, putting on a two-day festival “is very tiring,” adding that securing festival headliners like The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, and Calvin Harris for last year’s festival made it worth the second-day expansion.
Tickets for Sweetlife range from $100-$150 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. (Presale tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m.).
