Just in time, from that everlasting fount of iniquity: a New Years Eve adventure for kids! “I am throwing a New Years Eve Pizza Party,” writes a totally non-sketchy Craigslist poster looking to lure your young children into his home. “We are going to order pizza and put on some disney movies and make arts and crafts. For the older kids I will have board games that they can play with,” he writes, no doubt hoping that the presence of children will help numb time’s irreversible descent into old age.

For the elder children, more mature treats await. “For the older kids we will be staying up until midnight and we will have hats, and horns so that they can celebrate the new year in style,” he writes. “For the younger kids they will be put to sleep at their normal time unless you say its ok that they stay up.”
