Tomorrow, the Washington, D.C. National Organization for Women will host a fundraiser at Madam’s Organ in order to benefit the D.C. Rape Crisis Center. The simple activity of consuming alcohol at a bar is so often used to blame rape survivors for their assaults, so it’s nice to see a bar invested in the effort to actually help victims. The happy hour will run from 5 to 9 p.m. at 2461 18th St. NW.
