The Washington Post has a story today in its business section about home sales in Fairfax County, which increased more than 10 percent last month, “the county’s first double-digit increase in a year and half.” Is a turnaround in the region’s market far away?
Mmmm, don’t hold your breath, says one source in the article: “It’s a sign that we’re in the early stages of recovery, but in a downturn as severe as this one, the recovery is going to be much longer and slower than most people would like.”
