Bloomingdale (for now) has posted some photos of the McMillan Sand Filtration Site,which I’ve written about extensively since the city is redeveloping the entire 25-acre site into a huge mixed-use project.

Despite my small obsession with McMillan—-an at once creepy, beautiful and bizarre D.C. landmark—-I’ve never stepped inside. These photos are the closest I’ve ever come to getting a real tour.
