The Wall Street Journal reports: “The price of the most expensive home listing in Washington, D.C., is now 20% less. Known as Evermay, the 3.58-acre Georgian Revival estate went on the market in September for $49 million but is now priced at $39 million. Commissioned in 1801, the 12,000-square-foot home has a eight bedrooms and a ballroom.”
