Earlier today, I spotted this home down by Riggs Place and 16th Street. It reminded me of my latest column about the struggle to preserve Naylor Court and Blagden Alley over in Shaw. Many of the buildings back there—-old carriage houses, stables and early 20th century car garages—-aren’t in the same shape as this one. I’m not entirely sure what era it’s from, but it faces Riggs Place, not the back alley.
