Since I’ve already got a duo of foreclosure-related items up…might as well make it a trio. This announcement just landed in my inbox:

(Washington, DC) – The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will hold a homeownership and foreclosure prevention clinic on Saturday, May 16. The clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marshall Heights Community Development Organization, located at 3939 Benning Road NE. The clinic is free and is open to all D.C. residents.

Participants will be provided with information about homeownership and foreclosure prevention, and will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with HUD-approved and certified counselors. Individuals seeking in-depth assistance should bring to the clinic: a copy of your mortgage agreement; recent pay stubs (for employment & income verification); any late notices or default letters from their lender; and copies of a credit report.
