I’m a little on the late side in publishing this data, which is part of a Delta Associates retail report issued earlier this month. But since I blogged about the job market for 2009 grads yesterday, it seems pertinent:

According to Delta Associates, 28,800 jobs, on average, are created each year in the Washington metro area (examining stats from the last 15 years). In 2009, 9,800 new jobs are projected.  In 2010, 34,100 new jobs are projected. In 2011, 42,400 new jobs are projected.
