Well, here’s a surprise: The Donohoe Companies, provider of those ubiquitous signs you see at construction sites around the region, is 125 years old.
I don’t have too much to say about that other than: That’s quite a history. I had no idea.
The company, which focuses on real estate, development, construction, and management services, is now run by fourth and fifth generation members of the Donohoe family, according to a press release I received today. Donohoe has created a website, reviewing it history starting from 1884 and on.
