Where in this city can you find a condo building that’s 60 percent sold before it even makes it out of the ground? Why, at the Cardozo Court development on Clifton Street near 14th, where nine out of 15 planned units are already gone.
Of course, this is affordable housing, put up by Manna Inc; units are selling for between $175,000 and $260,000. But still, that’s not bad on a street where one development is dead in the water, and another big one—View14—is at 60 percent capacity after five months on the market.
