Prince of Petworth noticed last week that the Uptowner Cafe was taking spot on 18th Street left vacant by Caribou. Though the grand opening is tomorrow, it’s currently serving a full menu of deli sandwiches priced between six and eight dollars, along with sushi, cupcakes, and coffee—and free cookies, for now at least. Housing Complex even got a decent bagel.
