Yesterday, the Department of Housing and Community Development announced it would be actioning off 18 properties through its Property Acquisition and Disposition Division. They’re single and multi-family units as well as vacant lots located in six different wards, and the pictures are cringeworthy—they all look like a ton of work.
In the last auction—the first of its kind, in January 2009—the Department made a little profit of $3.7 million on the properties it bought and resold to non-profits, certified businesses, and people looking to use them as single-family homes. This one will take place at 2:00 p.m. on June 30 at the Convention Center.
