HGTV has started making the rounds of local civic associations, asking “motivated, financially candid people” to apply for their reality show “My First Sale,” which will chronicle the incredibly exciting progress of someone trying to unload a house. According to spokeswoman Lauren Miles—who will take your applications at lmiles@highnoontv.com—they’re looking for about 30 sellers total, but hope that as many folks as possible will apply.
If you were wondering, there is some financial remuneration for participants. But they’d rather you be motivated for reasons other than money. Stardom, for example.
