Last night, Prince of Petworth posted some hearsay regarding Trader Joe’s exploring locations near 14th and U Streets. The official word from the company—it only takes one call to find out!—is that no, they’re not exploring a location there; it’s “not in their two-year plan” to open more stores in D.C.

Which, of course, doesn’t mean they never will. Just that this particular bit of rumor is almost certainly baseless.
