The always-distinctive bookstore on Columbia Road will be getting more colorful this month, as artist Karlisima Rhodas—also the person behind all those presidents on Mama Ayesha’s—paints a blazing rainbow of a mural on the second floor of Potter’s House. The project recieved a grant from the D.C. Arts and Humanities Commission, and will take a month to complete. We trust it’ll be less controversial than some.
