The American Institute of Architects has made its Guide to the Architecture of Washington D.C. into an iPhone application, complete with tours of various important sights. Not having an iPhone, Housing Complex is glad to have bought the dead tree copy, even though it cost quite a bit more than the $2.99 electronic version.
But the app madness doesn’t stop there! Adams Morgan BID director Kristen Barden informs us that she’s been working on an iPhone application for the businesses along 18th Street and Columbia Road NW, which will link to Yelp reviews. She hopes to be the first D.C. BID to launch its own app, and better yet, it’ll be free.
