There is nothing remarkable about this bathroom except its location: A few blocks off the waterfront at National Harbor, it’s a public facility for the use of all who wander the streets. Which is not a very large number, even given that I walked by on a Tuesday afternoon. But still, it’s one of that bizarrely artificial new development’s most progressive features. Would that downtown D.C. had similar amenities!
