In advance of going before the Historic Preservation Review Board this month, George Washington University has presented a few artist concept sketches of the museum at 21st and G Street NW that will house a newly donated collection of artifacts from D.C. history as well as the relocated Textile Museum. Architect Hartman Cox has gone with a flat and smoothly curving limestone facade that differs sharply from the historic Woodhull Home it’ll be attached to.
