Remember Ben and Dan Miller, the scions of a development empire who struck off on their own to do neighborhood-scaled retail? When we checked in a few months ago, they were buzzing about a nascent web portal that would allow them to get feedback from residents about what should go into a given storefront. The site, called Popularise(.com), is almost ready for its close-up—-all will be revealed at a launch party on Friday in its new space at 1351 H Street NE, which has been gutted and is looking for a tenant.
