K Street’s toniest condo building, 3303 Water Street NW, gets another illustrious owner: Charles O. Holliday Jr., the former CEO of DuPont who since 2009 has chaired Bank of America’s board of directors. He and his wife Ann bought the three-bedroom, top-floor unit for $4.5 million on November 15th from Peter H. Nachtwey, who jumped from the Carlyle Group to asset management titan Legg Mason last year as its chief financial officer (and had bought the unit a few years previously for $4.1 million).
The unit has an excellent view of the Key Bridge, though Holliday probably didn’t move in in time to gaze out upon a protest of Occupy D.C., which has made Bank of America one of its primary targets.
